Access to the light station grounds is by guided tour only.
Do not wait at the gate to the light station. Park at the old Piedras Blancas Motel 1.5 miles north of the light station by 9:45 am to check-in with our staff.
Tours are offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning year-round.
Beginning June 15th through the summer, tours will be offered five days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (closed Sundays and Wednesdays).
NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED for groups smaller than 10 people.

No tours offered on federal holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day)
Visitors meet at 9:45 a.m. at the former Piedras Blancas Motel located 1.5 miles north of the light station on Highway 1. Do not wait at the gate to the light station! Wheelchairs and strollers are available upon request. We have a limited amount of binoculars for your use at the viewpoints on the trail; please bring your own binos for the best wildlife viewing.

$10 adults, $5 ages 6-17, no fee for ages 5 and under.
No reservations needed for groups less than 10 people.
Tours last about 2 hours and include a 1/2 mile of easy walking. Bring your binoculars for wildlife viewing.
Tours enter the lighthouse, but you cannot walk up to the top of the tower due to safety concerns.
