A partnership between the Bureau of Land Management and Piedras Blancas Light Station Association
In 2004, the Bureau of Land Management partnered with the newly formed Piedras Blancas Light Station Association. The mission of the association is to provide resources to restore and preserve Piedras Blancas Light Station to its period of greatest historical significance, provide educational opportunities to the public, and facilitate scientific research.

The Piedras Blancas Light Station Association board of directors meets every 4th Wednesday of the month (except November and December) at 6 p.m. via Zoom. The public is always welcome to attend these meetings to listen, ask questions or voice concerns. We are currently accepting resumés from those who are interested in becoming a board member. The board is made up of people from all backgrounds and education who live in different parts of the county. We especially need someone who has fundraising or grant writing experience.
