Piedras Blancas Light Station is located almost halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
From San Francisco;
Take Highway 101 South through Salinas.
Exit on to Highway 1 through Monterey and Carmel. Continue down the Big Sur area. Approx. 90 miles.
Pass the Ragged Point Resort area. Approx 13 miles.

From Los Angeles;
Take Highway 101 North through Santa Barbara.
In San Luis Obispo find the California Highway 1 exit toward Hearst Castle.
Take Highway 1 North approxomately 50 miles through the town of Cambria.
Continue North. On a clear day the light is visible just outside Cambria.
