I was invited to climb to the top of the Lighthouse tower on a stormy day. The wind gusts at the top were so strong I gripped the railing with both hands to feel safe. I'd taken my camera to photograph the view, but could free only one hand briefly to use it. I did manage to get several shots, and it was from these photos that I painted "Looking North".
